Unplugged

Every Wednesday night we meet from 7-9pm for a time of games, community and conversation.  This program runs all summer and is open to Jr & Sr High students.  Bring clothes that you can run around in.  Hope to see you every Wednesday for Unplugged!

Upcoming Events:
Rock the River – On August 21st Rock the River is coming to Calgary.  Rock the River is a huge rock concert put on by the Billy Graham association that features bands such as Skillet, Hock Nelson and many others.  Meet at the church at 1:30, pick up at 10:15pm at the church. Cost $10 (bring another $10 for lunch that you will buy at COP), bring bug spray and a blanket or chair to sit on.

GAMMA GIRLS

This is a 10 week group about friendship, positive body image, problem solving and negotiating skills, determining values and how the media impacts our lives. This is a place to be serious, try new things, and exercise leadership skills needed in today’s society. It is a safe and fun place for girls to communicate without competition and to learn to deal with challenging relationships.

OPEN TO:
Fall 2010 – Girls ages 14-15
Winter 2011 – Girls ages 12-13

WHERE:
Westside King’s Church

WHEN:
Fall 2010 – Thursday Evenings from 6:45-8:45, September 23, 2010 -December 2, 2010 (with one week off for Remembrance Day)

Winter 2011 – Thursday Evenings from 6:45-8:45, January 13, 2011 – March 24, 2011 (with one week off for Teacher’s Convention)
