Her Time

I am so looking forward to being involved in the leadership of this amazing Women's Ministry at Westside Kings Church! I have seen and experienced great things . . . and as a result Her Time has become an important part of my spiritual life this past year. I am excited to step into the coordinator role and begin this new chapter in my walk with God.
Woman's Ministry has molded me into the woman, wife and mom I am today. I began my journey attending my Ladies group at church in Edmonton nine years ago. Though at first shy and quiet, I was mentored to live out my faith in this safe environment, fostering my passion to encourage other women to do the same! I am now an eager and willing participant to do God's will in this area and provide that safe place that women can come to. Having the opportunity to lead my own bible study groups helped empower me, stretch me out of my comfort zone and just recognize the journey we are all on as women.
Chatting over coffee, discussing the Word, praying together . . . I believe every woman of any age can benefit from listening to the life stories of wonderful women who have lived a full life of marriage, motherhood and now in their years of retirement. It is encouraging to women of all stages of life. God has provided this wonderful atmosphere to do such great things!
As a wife and mother of 3, I have realized how important it is to have support and understanding in ever aspect of growing into a woman of God. My prayer is that Her Time is a place where wives, mothers, WOMEN can experience growth in these areas and, most importantly their relationship with the Lord.
Her Time is a two-hour oasis for women on Tuesday mornings. Come join us for coffee and a mini-inspirational message. Then participate in the elective of your choice: fitness class, book study, or a chance to catch up on unfinished projects. Childcare available if needed.
