Weekend University: A Life Care Seminar

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 28, 2009

A Life Care Seminar on Grief & Loss: Trust and Acceptance
With Bob Glasgow (9am-11:30am)

We all know what it is to experience losses of various kinds, but some losses are harder for us to overcome than others.  Whatever the reason for our grief we need to understand it in order to heal.  Bob Glasgow has been working with people in grief for over two decades, bringing a rich and practical experience to the topic.  And you will deeply appreciate Bob’s personal style.

This seminar will deepen our understanding of the process we call grief, learn from the practical experiences of others, understand how people grieve in different ways, and explore how we can support those in grief.  Finally, we will reflect on the spiritual transitions we can move through towards healing and hope.

Our Agenda

9:15     Session one: models of the grief process

10:45   Session three: how do we support those in grief?
