Everybody wants to be the hero but few understand the power of being a Heromaker. Jesus did it, let’s follow.
Even though Mark’s gospel is telling us a story about Jesus, the Son of God, when we see Jesus up close in this gospel, he operates on a philosophy that sacrificially invests his life in others. This heromaker philosophy might be unusual in contemporary life, but we wonder if we might do well to pay attention
“…Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (MARK 10:43–45)
